On Tuesday, January 24th, Jack Sordoni and Homeland Energy hosted a landowner meeting at the Benton Area High School.  The meeting was both well attended and well received.  Highlights of the presentation included a powerpoint presentation of the local operations and industry activity, prevailing natural gas market conditions and presentation maps of our groups acreage.  Jack Sordoni stressed the importance of our local community coming together to put us all in as good a position as possible for leasing opportunities.  He further stated that the efforts put forth by him, Chris Robinson and their entire team were the area's best chance for obtaining leases.  This is in part, due to their aggressive marketing at expos, tradeshows, etc as well as the state of the art mapping and geologic understanding of the Marcellus.

The third week of February will find the Robinson-Sordoni Group in Houston, Texas at the North American Petroleum Expo (NAPE).  This is largest organized gathering of oil and gas professionals any where in the world.  Jack and Chris have formed cooperative agreements so that our group's acreage will be prominently displayed at a display booth for the entire length of the Expo.  

While natural gas prices are low and our local geology still has yet to be 'proven', local operations and industry activity in our area show continued interest in resource development from significant industry players.  Wells being drilled, fracked and flared, water permits being issued, piqued local real estate interest and local equipment storage are all positive signs.

The Robinson-Sordoni Group will continue to represent landowners in attempts to secure leases and will represent landowners after the leasing process.
