Homeland Energy Ventures was founded in 2004 by its President, Jack Sordoni, and is actively engaged in all aspects of oil and gas exploration and the production process. Homeland Energy owns and operates more than 250 wells in the Appalachian Basin and is a leading consultant on Marcellus and Utica Shale opportunities. The company provides consulting services to landowner groups as well as private equity groups, hedge funds, family offices and individuals.
Although its primary business is developing and managing oil and gas wells for its own account and its investors, Homeland also represents landowners in large lease transactions with oil and gas companies so that each landowner achieves the greatest value for his property. We accomplish this by understanding the geology of that property, and joining it together with adjacent acreage to provide oil and gas companies with a large, high quality land area to explore. Landowners realize exceptional value from the aggregation with maximum royalties and bonus payments with minimal legal, administrative and scientific costs. With our strategic energy partner, one we have worked with for several years, Homeland has leased more than 150,000 acres with numerous gas companies throughout the Marcellus Shale region.
